| DUCK CREEK RANCH Niobrara County, Wyoming: The Duck Creek Ranch is located 16 miles east of Lusk, Wyoming and consists of 5,169 deeded acres and 2,435 State of Wyoming lease acres for a total of 7,605 acres. The ranch is divided by US Highway 20 into a North Unit consisting of 3,831 deeded acres and 1,554.66 acres State of Wyoming lease and a South Unit consisting of 1,338 deeded acres and 880 State of Wyoming lease acres. There are a total of approximately 1,520 irrigated acres. This extremely productive and well-balanced ranch is irrigated by nine low pressure pivots. Three pivots irrigate approximately 574 deeded acres of grassland on the North Unit. The fourth pivot on the North Unit, located on the State of Wyoming lease ground, consists of 149.7 acres and is currently planted in alfalfa. The five pivots located throughout the South Unit of the Duck Creek Ranch irrigate approximately 796.2 acres of which 770.5 acres are located on deeded land while the balance, consisting of 25.7 acres, is located on State of Wyoming land. Four additional wells provide stock water to tanks strategically located throughout the ranch. This ranch features an excellent set of improvements with two houses, several outbuildings, exceptional cattle working facilities, and two large feedlots constructed of continuous fence. The feedlots are capable of holding approximately 3,000 head of cattle. The ranch is rated as a 600 cow/calf operation year-round.
